There was a story telling about the importance of these temples in the way they protected Vietnamese citizens from the evil a long time ago. Built in the 11th Century under the Ly dynasty, Quan Thanh Temple (Đền Quán Thánh) is one of the sacred temples in Hanoi, and it was dedicated to Thanh Huyen Thien Tran Vu (the God of the North).
