Three days in Thua Thien Hue
The first day: Same as One day in Thừa Thiên Huế
The second day: Same as Two days in Thừa Thiên Huế
The third day:
- 7:00 AM: Eat breakfast
- 8:00 AM: Visit Nam Giao Altar
- 9:00 AM: From Nam Giao, go to Từ Đàm Pagoda. It is quite near and only takes about 5 minutes by car
- 10:00 AM: Go to Thiên Mụ Pagoda. It will take about 15 minutes to get to Thiên Mụ Pagoda. This is a very special pagoda with its own story and the hurtful curse.
- 11:30 AM: Have lunch and get ready for a busy afternoon
- 12:30 PM: Visit Thiên An Monastery
- 1:30 PM: It is time to visit the mausoleum complex of Huế consisting of Khải Định, Minh Mạng and Tự Đức. You can visit whatever mausoleum first you like and this can take quite a lot of time since they are situated in separate areas.
- 4:00 PM: Go to Bao Vinh Old Street and enjoy such crowded market and shop as much as you like. Vietnamese atmosphere is right there.
- 5:30 PM: You may like to drop by Chè Hẻm to have an absolutely delicious bowl of sweetened porridge
- 7:00 PM: Go back to your hotel or have dinner outside and get ready for the night
- 8:30 PM: Enjoy a little cup of “Ground coffee”. I bet that you will never forget this experience
- 10:00 PM: Go back to you hotel
