Christmas in Saigon

Christmas is coming and everyone is preparing for the upcoming holiday. Let me take you to Xóm Đạo Bắc Hải in Saigon (Cư xá Bắc Hải) where the Christian residents stay to see how people here have decorated to celebrate this special day.

Cư xá Bắc Hải

Bắc Hải is one of the villages in which Christians live. Whenever Christmas comes, the streets here are decorated with lights and caves, which has been attracting a large number of people to visit.

Besides Bắc Hải, we can visit other beautiful villages such as Xóm đạo) Phạm Thế Hiển st. (District 8), Hạnh Thông Tây (Go Vap District), Tam Hà (Thủ Đức District), Nguyễn Hậu st. (Tân Phú District)

  1. Exactly one more month will be the Christmas Day, and I’m already looking forward to it. I look forward to seeing streets with colorful lights, to wrapping myself in blankets while having dinner. Indeed a nice scenario.

  2. Christmas Day is already over but I can still feel the warmth and happiness of it. I’m looking forward to New Year. Best wishes!

  3. So jealous! I was in Hanoi for two months before I left for Canada. I was wondering how they celebrated Christmas in Vietnam. So amazed to see it’s apparently a big thing there in spite of not being predominantly Christian.

  4. Thank you for every other informative website. Where else may I am getting that type of info written in such a perfect approach? I have a mission that I’m simply now working on, and I have been at the look out for such information.
