Hasini’s Vietnam Travel Story

From the experience of 2 weeks that I had in Vietnam, I think this country is full of wonders and beauty as the histocical, background and cultural aspects really impressed me. People here are really kind they always tend to help even though they might not understand a word we are saying sometimes.

In my country, Sri Lanka we normally have spicy food, that is what we prefer. But in Vietnam, I noticed that most of the people really love sweets but comparatively Vietnamese sweets are less sweet than Sri Lankan sweets.

When it comes to travelling modes, in Vietnam, motorbike is the most common. But I don’t appreciate the way vehicles drive on the roads. In our country when crossing, vehicles are expected to stop and that is the law in our country. But in Vietnam, I noticed that the drivers do not respect that. Yet I still haven’t seen any accident on the roads! Maybe all the pedestrians and drivers are adapted to this way. By the way, crossing Hanoi road was a new experience to me.

There are lots of food stores, street foods, coffee shops, apparel shops, etc so that anywhere, anytime we can buy anything we want soon enough. That’s a relief. I had an awesome trip to Sapa, too. Enjoyed natural beauty of Vietnamese villages and the freezing cold weather was amazing. Finally, I’ve enjoyed my life here. This is an amazing country and it’s an awesome experience for me!
