I love all this info! We visited Vietnam a couple of years ago and loved the food and the coffee! So true about white skin being highly regarded. We saw the same thing in Thailand. My sister had a hard time teaching in China because she is middle eastern but native English speaker.

I never saw the milk fruit… that sounds interesting. But Ill try anything!

I’d heard of some of the weird foods but duck embryo and raw blood soup just doesn’t appeal to me! Maybe I won’t indulge in those local foods when I go!
